In a special meeting held at the main office, a high-level delegation from the German Military, led by Ms. Louisa Röhner, the Cultural Advisor for the German Military in the Kurdistan Region, visited Mr. Mariwan Haji Jamal, Chairman of MJ Holding. This visit serves as a testament to the profound and unique trust that German official institutions place in Mr. Mariwan as a true partner in supporting humanitarian projects across the region.
The delegation expressed their sincere gratitude for Mr. Mariwan’s nationalistic and humanitarian stances, particularly his sponsorship and oversight of the school for orphaned children in Khanke. Following the passing of the artist (Khatar), Mr. Mariwan took over the management of this center at the request of the German authorities. The school, which provides for 420 children affected by the war against ISIS, is treated with utmost care by Mr. Mariwan—viewing the children as his own family. Even during the most challenging times, he ensured the renovation and full provision of all their essential needs.
